We held the conference titled ‘Fundamental Rights and Resilience in Disasters: Civil Society and Media Collaboration.
As the Freedom Research Association (ÖAD) and the Media and Law Studies Association (MLSA), we brought together civil society and local media representatives in Istanbul as part of our project, ‘Protecting Fundamental Freedoms in Post-Earthquake Turkey.’
During the conference, we aimed to discuss the role of civil society and local media in disasters and to develop strategies for building a more resilient civil society and media in the future.
