Since the establishment of the Freedom Research Association, it has continued to examine the impact of government policies in Turkey and to research effect on freedoms. Nowadays, we aim to summarize and assess the political, legal, and economic effects of government policies regarding the fight against COVID-19 in Turkey from a liberal democratic perspective. In this context, a bi-weekly newsletter series includes a summary and evaluation of the political, legal and economic effects of government policies from a liberal democratic perspective. In this context, we decided to issue a bulletin series a bi-weekly. The bulletins include summarizing and evaluating the political, legal and economic effects of government policies from a liberal democratic perspective.

Prepared with the support of Friedrich Naumann Foundation Turkey Office (FNF Turkey) "Challenge of Freedoms with COVID-19" aims to to summarize and assess the political, legal, and economic effects of government policies regarding the fight against COVID-19 in Turkey. Also the bulletin wants to expand awareness of citizens about their rights at stake during this crisis. The bulletin assesses many issues such as measures in Turkey and around the world during the pandemic process, the recent status of freedom of expression and prisoners of thought in Turkey during this period, the changing fate of the number of infected patients every day, restrictions and prohibitions imposed by the state. However, it is to open up horizons for the critical / questioning evaluation of the issue of rights in the context of the rule of law.
